United States Roundtables
The National Pollution Prevention Roundtable (NPPR) is the largest membership organization in the United States devoted solely to pollution prevention. The mission of the NPPR is to provide a national forum for promoting the development, implementation, and evaluation of efforts to avoid, eliminate, or reduce pollution at the source. The NPPR''s Annual Spring conference attracts about 600 people from the public and private sectors now including representatives from federal, state, and local government programs, private industry and non-governmental organizations.
Great Lakes Regional Pollution Prevention Roundtable (GLRPPR)
The Great Lakes Regional Pollution Prevention Roundtable (GLRPPR) supports pollution prevention through information sharing, issue discussion and program development among member organizations. Members include individuals from local, state, provincial and federal programs in the Great Lakes region (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, Ohio, Ontario, and Pennsylvania). The GLRPPR and its workgroups discuss information sharing, training, technical assistance and regulatory integration issues twice a year.
