Pollution Prevention Planning Workgroup

The Pollution Prevention Planning (P3) Workgroup is made up of pollution prevention practitioners- professionals who are responsible for designing, implementing or maintaining pollution prevention programs for, or directed at, businesses and organizations across Canada. The P3 Workgroup was established at the Canadian Pollution Prevention Roundtable in Toronto in May 2000.

The P3 Workgroup is striving to promote and communicate the importance of effective P2 Planning as an environmental management tool. The Workgroup played a key role in peer reviewing the Pollution Prevention Program Manual: Pollution Prevention Planning & Beyond (February 2001) and the P2 Planning Certificate process outlined by the Canadian Centre for Pollution Prevention. The Workgroup will be involved in the Review Committee for certifying P2 plans.
